Sleepy Hollow Girls Basketball

Welcome to Patch's daily snapshot of sports in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy girls playoffs

Today is a big day for the Sleepy Hollow girls basketball squad as it looks to avenge two regular-season loses to Ardsley (see schedule below) in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals.

The winners of each quarterfinal contest will advance to the Section 1 Final Four at the Westchester County Center in White Plains Feb. 27-March 4.

To see a preview of that and other games, check out Yaron Weitzman's post on the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog.

Boys youth hoops

The Horsemen came up with a big 50-29 triumph against Briarcliff Feb. 18 in the Tri-County Basketball League's seventh grade B division.

Hackley track & field

Hackley's indoor varsity coed track & field squad has a huge meet today as it will participate in the Ivy League Prep Championships at 5 p.m.
