Welcome to Patch's daily snapshot of sports in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.
Bucci player of the night
It may sound like a broken record but for Sleepy Hollow girls basketball fans, the news that its own Jamie Bucci dominated another game is sweet music to their ears.
Bucci scored a game-high 31 points in leading 9-3 Sleepy Hollow to a 63-29 victory at Bronxville Jan. 17. Teammate Daniella Carissimo continued her fine season by contributing 13 points.
Bucci's performance earned her the right to share the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog's player of the night honor with Sacred Heart’s Tiffany Corselli.
See Rob Cristino's post on the blog for more scores.
