Chamber of Commerce Honors Milestone Businesses
The Chamber of Commerce says "thank you" to its members.
Local business were honored for their longevity yesterday during the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce Milestone Anniversary Recognition meeting.
Honorees included:
Celebrating five years (established 2005): Canfin Gallery, The Hudson Independent, Rock Island Sound, Kendal On Hudson, Westover Landscape Design and Cassano's Pizza Trattoria.
Celebrating six years (established 2004): Chiboust
Celebrating 10 years (established 2000): Main Street Sweets
Celebrating 20 years (established 1990): YAI Young Adult Institute, Agro's Landscaping Inc., Flying Fingers Yarn Shop, Westy Self Storage Centers
Celebrating 25 years (established 1985): Antonio Cabinetry, Community TV & Media Channel, Rockefeller State Preserve, Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital
Celebrating 30 years (established 1980): Bellas Restaurant, Mickey's Automotive, Proftech Office Products and Furniture Specialists
Celebrating 49 years (established 1961): Doubletree Hotel Tarrytown
Celebrating 51 years (established 1959): Hitachi America, Raymond Opticians
Celebrating 61 years (established 1949): Lyndhurst
Sleepy Hollow Mayor Ken Wray commented on the village's success in ensuring a safe and fun Halloween and discussed the recently-opened Senior Center.
Mayor Drew Fixell of Tarrytown also commented on the success of the village parade and party and provided a brief update on the waterfront park. Fixell said the first phase is nearly complete and phase two is beginning.
