Coming Soon: Sushi to Tarrytown Centre
Demo work is underway for a sushi/hibachi grill in the Walgreens shopping center.
Soon there will a triangle of Sushi restaurants connecting the corners of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown – from Young's Chinese/Sushi in the Stop and Shop complex on South Broadway to Wasabi on North Broadway and now, a new sushi/hibachi grill coming to the Tarrytown Centre at 134 Wildey.
The long-vacant space, formerly a dental office, next to the former Van Tassel Cleaners (who has now vacated for roomier digs between Walgreens and Dunkin' Donuts on the other side of the complex), now has a taker. Interior renovations are underway, starting with the red dumpster full of demolition debris in the parking lot. A sign of good things to come.

I tired Wasabi years ago and wasn't thrilled. If I remember, they used sauces on japanese dishes, sorta making japanese-chinese cuisine. Wonder if anyone else thought the same or reccommends anything on the menu in particular? I'd be willing to give them a try again.
