Fortune telling and paint made for an interesting Saturday night in Tarrytown.

On Saturday night,  hosted a lively benefit event where body painter Margie Nugent held a demonstration of her craft.

The event was a celebration of Nugent's birthday and the 13th anniversary of being free of domestic violence. Using the model Yamille Mellow as her canvas, Ms. Nugent created a painting in a design related to Mulduhara, the first Chakra which symbolizes a pivotal point and foundation in creating a new and stable life.

Body art was coupled with the work of Angela Pizzarello who gave tarot readings as well as artist Jo Jayson who displayed her Charkra collection in the form of paintings, printed scarves, prints and handmade candles.
