In Photos: Douglas Park Family Fun

All in a day's work: much was improved in Webber's Douglas Park on Saturday, when local families donned gloves and dug in.

Many families got to work with a smile on Saturday in Douglas Park.

They: pulled invasive vines, weedwacked and relined the stone maze, planted small trees, sanded grafitti off the entire gazebo, picked sticks out of sand, raked, and much more.

Fun, as advertised, included hula hoops for the kids, a letterboxing scavenger hunt, nature walk, pizza. Scented lipbalm samples for kids from Buttercup & Jake and balsam saplings to plant at home care of Westover Landscape Design were a nice bonus.
