The Tarrytown Police Department reported the following incidents:
Nov. 5
12:40 a.m. A Tarrytown taxi driver called in to report the line at the McDonald’s drive-thru was not moving, complaining this may cause him to lose a customer. Police arrived on the scene and issued a village code infraction to the driver for not displaying his taxi identification badge, returnable to Justice Court on 11/17.
Nov. 6 - 8
No less than eight reports this week for money fraudulently removed from bank accounts.
On Nov. 6, a Central Avenue resident reported $886 had been removed from his Chase checking account, determined to be from an ATM transaction in Manhattan. A Hamilton Place caller reported $1,000 had been removed from her Chase checking account, also from a Manhattan location, midtown on Madison Avenue. A Lake Avenue resident reported $620 removed from her Chase checking account from an ATM at 3rd Avenue, Manhattan.
6:41 p.m. A secret service agent called headquarters to report he and other agents were on foot pursuing a suspect at South Broadway and White Plains Road. The white male was wanted for possession of a forged instrument, an ATM skimming device, from the Chase Bank at 360 S. Broadway. Secret Service had the suspect in custody upon police arrival. He was sent to headquarters for processing. Westchester County ADA, Laura Forbes from the high-tech crimes unit, was contacted and recommended defendant be held no rap/no bail. He was arraigned no rap/no bail, with returning court date of 11/9 and transported to the Westchester County Detention Center.
The reports continued: On Nov. 7, a McKeel Avenue resident reported his ATM card was fraudulently used in Manhattan, the account missing $1,000. On Nov. 8, a caller reported that the checking account number and pin number for his real estate business (Hudson Valley Real Estate) was stolen by the use of a credit card reader installed at the Chase Bank ATM at 360 S. Broadway. $2,000 was reportedly then stolen using the numbers on two separate dates, from a number of different banks in NYC. Another complainant on the same day reported $220 stolen from his checking account, with numbers also pulled from the ATM at this Chase Bank location in Tarrytown. Finally, another complainant reported $1,505.97 stolen from his account after he had used the ATM machine at the Chase Bank at 64 N. Broadway.
Nov. 7 - 8
Two cat calls. At 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 7, a caller reported she had a cat stuck in the undercarriage of her vehicle at N. Broadway and Main Street. Stiloski’s Towing lifted the rear of the vehicle in order to gain access to the cat. The cat ran away after being freed toward the Citibank parking lot. Condition corrected. On Nov. 8 at 4:42 p.m., an officer reported a cat was stuck under a vehicle at Neperan Road and N. Broadway. Stiloski’s Towing again came to lift the vehicle and free the cat. John Stiloski took custody of the cat.

How does a cat get stuck under a car. Surely if you start the car, the cat would move on?
Was it wedged in there somehow, or perhaps its tail was sucked into a belt?

You're right. The story makes no sense whatsoever. Our cat used to go under the car, but I can guarantee that if we had started the car it would have run out immediately. And why does using a tow truck to lift the car make someone a 'True American Hero?" This is just plain BIZARRE.

The cabbie should know that mcDonalds is slow and if he had a passenger that wanted to go through the line,he's getting paid by the customer. If he went through witha cuatomer in the car for his own stomach,he's discourteous to the passenger. If he was a real cabbie ,he wouldn't eat the crap anyway, you don't know what is going on behind the counter in these teen ff joints.Avoid the food and get a decent sandwich that's frozen in a 7/11 and heat it in microwave.Voila' more crap.Quit your job and become a chef!
