Police: Man Caught With Pot During Court Appearance...
For charges of unlawful possession of marijuana.
A 22-year-old Sleepy Hollow man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Monday, while in Irvington Village Court answering a previous charge for the same crime—for which he was convicted, police said.
The man—while in court—was discovered to have an active bench warrant from Sleepy Hollow police for failure to appear in court after police charged him with trespassing.
The man was taken into custody in Irvington before being turned over to Sleepy Hollow PD.
"We wouldn't normally search someone in court, but because of the bench warrant, we did," said Irvington Sgt. Michael Foley.
He was issued another appearance ticket for Irvington court and turned over to face his charges in Sleepy Hollow.

No doubt this will stop him from his "4:20" lighting up. Right!

This shouldn't be a crime. Legalize it already
