Sleepy Hollow High Presents: The Angry Twelve
This weekend, the successful 1950s 'Twelve Angry Men' goes co-ed when 14 high school thespians star in 'The Angry Twelve.'
This weekend, directed by English faculty member Peter Kennedy, Sleepy Hollow High School Students will present the play The Angry Twelve.
This drama, based on the original teleplay Twleve Angry Men, gets inside the deliberations of a jury during a homicide trial. It was broadcast initially as a television play in 1954. The following year it was adapted for the stage, and in 1957 was made into a highly successful film. Since then it has been adapted, remade, and homaged numerous times.
The Angry 12, like the original, according to the play's promo material, "examines the nature of justice in America, and exposes the emotional and psychological baggage of individuals struggling to uncover the truth."

The play will be held in the Donald Kusel Auditorium in Sleepy Hollow High School on Friday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost: Adults $10, Students $8, Seniors $5.
