Winner of Best Desserts in Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow: Chiboust!

It was a good match between very different venues: you have Main Street Sweets on side of Main with its whimsical sweet-tooth, then you have the high-end delights of Chiboust on the other side run by pastry chef Jill Rose. 

won this week's race for in the Villages with 39% of the votes (from 33 voters), while came in not-so-shabby second with 27% (23 voters). In third came with 15% of the votes (13 voters). 

Said one reader Colleen: "Chiboust!! The carrot cake, banana dolce de lecce, caramel apples, fruit tarts - pretty much anything in that desert case is AMAZING!! If you haven't tried any of Jill's deserts - your missing out on a slice of heaven."

And Tina Bellino had us sold on the brownies at the Tarrytown Pastry: "The German Chocolate Brownies at Pastry Chef on Broadway are simply amazing. There is no better brownie in Westchester! They are packed with so much flavor and incredible texture that nothing surpasses them. Yum!"
