 ;\n&nbsp\;\nAccording to her artist&rsquo\;s statement\, Rosalind Brenne
r&rsquo\;s art\, both process and result\, is an expression of a mining
 of observation\, exploration of symbol\, color\, form\, shape\, imagery
and wild imaginings.&nbsp\; Mixing mediums\, she achieves a tactility an
d fluidity\, layering\, building on the play between depth and two-dimen
sionality.\n&nbsp\;\nIn her visual art she will often start with words\,
which become a calligraphic design element of the work\, no longer read
able\, but adding a curious mix of in and out that draws forth a deep ob
servation of the picture plane as she layers it further. Her poetry is l
yric and narrative and creates a visual feast as she shapes words into i
magistic landscape. The work evolves into strength of statement as well
as a field into which to travel.\n&nbsp\;\nBrenner&rsquo\;s poetry has b
een published in The Cortland Review\, Poetrybay\, Long Island Sounds\,
The Southampton Review\, Walt&rsquo\;s Corner in The Long Islander\, Tap
root Journal\, Performance Poets Association Literary Review\, Ontologic
a\, and in Arroyo Literary Review\, among others.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; It is in
cluded in Cave Moon Press&rsquo\; anthology of poems against hunger\, Br
oken Circles. She won Honorable Mentions in The New Millennium national
