 nd Vijay Seshadri. Claggett is a writer\, speaker and activist. Her debu
 t poetry collection\, Monsoon Solo: Voices Once Submerged\, is published
  by WordTech Editions. She teaches an ongoing memoir class at the 92nd S
 treet Y and is currently working of a nonfiction book\, Incentives: A Me
 moir of Money\, Sex\, and Power. Seshadri's poems\, essays\, and reviews
  have appeared in many publications including The Nation\, The New Yorke
 r\, The New York Times\, and The Paris Review. His second collection of 
 poetry\, The Long Meadow\, won the James Laughlin Award. He currently te
 aches poetry and is the director of the writing program at Sarah Lawrenc
 e College.
