Former Tarrytown Boy Takes A Road Trip 100 Years Ago This Week

FRAZIER CLAPP ON LONG TOUR.

Covers Over Three Thousand Miles in Studebaker "Six."
Driving the first Studebaker "six" to come through the factories in the regular order of manufacture, Frazier Clapp, a former Tarrytown boy, now a member of the experimental staff of that concern, located at Detroit, rolled into that city not long ago after a trip that had taken him as far east as Washington and as far south as Jacksonville. He was accompanied by Edward J. Doran, driving a Studebaker "four" and the party also included I. A. Buck, technical expert of the sales department, and Jack Tower, of the experimental department.
Both cars came through without faltering. The distance covered was more than three thousand miles.
Mr. Clapp reports enjoying the trip immensely.
