School Cancelled; Buildings and Fields Bond Vote On

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch.

1) Whichever way you lean, today marks a big vote for Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow public schools. Parents and residents will be voting at two schools on two major propositions for millions in infrastructure and fields repairs and improvements. However there is no school today in the Tarrytowns due to inclement weather on the way.

On our Speak Out Boards, Tom Schumacher explains "Why I'm voting yes for Prop 1 & 2: It's about so much more than the turf. Our children go to school in buildings that are old and in need of upgrades and critical maintenance."

Do you agree? Weigh in on our Boards...and vote!
