Volunteer Appreciation Night at Rockland Boulders

The Volunteer Center of United Way with Thank You for Caring is pleased to announce the Rockland Boulders offer of discount tickets to volunteers for the Saturday, August 24, 2013 game. 

“We are excited about the Rockland Boulders’ recognition of all the work of volunteers. I think the Rockland Boulders have knocked this one out of the ballpark when it comes to showing appreciation to an enthusiastic and dedicated community,” said Alisa H. Kesten, executive director of The Volunteer Center.  “It is truly through the efforts of the thousands of local residents that area organizations are able to serve and support our communities every day, not to mention during times of disaster and in emergencies.  The Volunteer Center is proud to be part of this event.”

Volunteers are entitled to purchase infield box seats at the special discounted two-for-one price of $12.  Normally, the per ticket price is $14.

Tickets are available online at www.rocklandboulders.com using the code CARING when purchasing tickets online or at the Boulders box office with the Thank You for Caring card.  Cards are available for volunteers through their volunteer coordinators, through Thank You for Caring by calling (914)424-8888.  You can also call The Volunteer Center at (914) 948-4452 for more information or for a Thank You for Caring card.
