The EPTA and are hosting a Read-a-Thon for grades K-5 at the Children's Library this Saturday, January 21st, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
We're asking kids to come and read, be read to, read to others, or just celebrate reading. We've got a bunch of autographed copies of children and young adult books that will be raffled off for free to participants, and a parade of community members, teachers, and Sleepy Hollow High students will be in the reading room reading to anyone who wants to sit and listen.
Kids can be sponsored by their parents and family and friends for how many hours they spend at the event reading and listening. All proceeds raised are going towards the children's library.
