Carol Conklin-Spillane, Principal of , has been selected as the Administrator of the Year by the Empire State Administrators’ Association (ESSAA) for Region 2. Region 2 (RASA) encompasses Westchester and Putnam counties; there are 38 affiliated units within these two counties.
Conklin-Spillane is being recognized for her many years in the field of education, including 18 years of leadership at Sleepy Hollow High, and for creating a curricular vision that supports student achievement and a positive learning environment. She has also been instrumental in raising concerns with regard to New York State’s new APPR protocols.
Conklin-Spillane will receive her award at an awards banquet to be held in May.
