Celebrating Achievement in New York State Prisons

Zero Percent, the amazing documentary about Hudson Link for Higher Education, will be shown on Thursday, July 25th at 7pm in the church hall of Christ Episcopal Church, W. Elizabeth St. at John St.

Sean Pica, executive director of Hudson Link, will present the award-winning film.  Hudson Link has grown from a 65-person college program operating inside Sing Sing Correctional Facility, to approximately 250 students enrolled in college programs at four New York State correctional facilities.

The film’s title, Zero Percent, refers to the fact that not one of Hudson Link’s graduates has been re-incarcerated for a new crime once released.  Given the national recidivism rate of over 60%, Zero Percent provides real-life evidence of the far-reaching, positive effects of Hudson Link.
