Tarrytowns Board of Education to Hold Public Forum on Fields, Facilities Needs

The UFSD Tarrytowns Board of Education is inviting the community to attend an important public forum to discuss the potential for making improvements to the District’s school building facilities and District fields. The Forum will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. at the John Paulding School Multi-Purpose Room.

The Forum, which will precede a regular Board meeting, will include a discussion of the need for facility and field improvements by the Board and the three co-chairs of a community-wide committee that has been studying the issue for the past year. The committee co-chairs are Board member and former Board president Joseph Lillis, former Board member and engineer Paul Rode, and YMCA Board member Kiran Batheja.

In addition to discussing its findings, the committee wants to engage public input about the District’s facilities and fields.
