"Walk in the Woods" Inaugural Golf Outing

West Nyack, NY (August 19, 2013) - The "Walk in the Woods" Golf Outing will be held on Monday, September 30th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the exclusive Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, NY. Presented by St. Armand Ventures and Golfmarkets, "Walk in the Woods" is an experiential outing dedicated to creating awareness around the value of golf as much more than simple recreation. The proven therapeutic and inspirational values of golf have literally changed people's lives, most notably, traumatically injured military veterans. The event will highlight the supportive programs of the Wounded Warrior Project and bring awareness to the challenges our youngest injured veterans and their families face every day. This inaugural year brings the game of golf to foursomes comprised of local WWP Alumni, pro-athletes, corporate leaders and media, and metro-area golf enthusiasts. Visit the registration link.

As a Wounded Warrior Project "Proud Supporter" event, "Walk in the Woods" has invited members of the New York Chapter of the Wounded Warrior Project along with captains of industry in the fields of sports, entertainment, business and media to kick-off this unique gathering. Hit the links with NY Giant George Martin, US Olympic athletes and members of your favorite local sports teams TBA.
