There are still four slots open at April's CPR seminar, said Sleepy Hollow Volunteer Corps volunteer Ryan Murray.
The course goes from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 6 at the Sleepy Hollow Galgano Center, 55 Elm Street. The cost of $20 covers the cost of a text book and a certification card.
The course teaches CPR for basic life support, and anyone 16 years of age and up in need of a refresher or just starting out is welcome to sign up. Email sleepyhollowvac29@gmail.com.
For those who learned CPR years ago, the technique is always changing. Now it's 30 compression counts, with two rescue breaths. A child/infant should have two rescue workers doing 15 compressions and two breaths.
