Rev. Dr. King Scholarship Banquet to be Held in Tarrytown Friday

The Antioch Baptist Church of Bedford Hills announced that it will hold "Dr. King: Drum Major for Justice," with one event in Tarrytown.

The church has several Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. events scheduled for this month. The first is a scholarship banquet that is set for Jan. 10, starting at 7 p.m. at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. Admission tickets are $75 but the price will rise to $85 on Jan. 8.

The church is also hosting a community worship service scheduled for Jan. 19, with Rev. Dr. Adolphus C. Lacey from the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church speaking.

Finally, the church has scheduled an ecumenical seminar for Jan. 20, with an 8 a.m. registration and a 9 a.m. start.
