Sunset Jazz at Lyndhurst kicks off Thursday, August 5 with a concert by the 15-piece Weschester Jazz Orchestra.
The FREE Thursday Sunset Concerts continue throughout August at the magnificent 67-acre Lyndhurst Estate, a National Trust for Historic Preservation site.
August 12: Nilson Matta & Brazilian Voyage Band featuring Maucha Adnet
August 19: Jimmy Cobb Quinted Salute to Hank Jones
August 26: 2009 Latin Grammy Nominee Bobby Sanabria & Quinteto Okobio
Grounds open at 5pm, music starts at 6pm. Nominal $10/car parking fee. Also accessible by the Old Croton Aqueduct trail. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low-profile lawn chairs, and may bring or purchase a picnic supper at site. Concerts on West lawn overlooking Hudson River, or in Carriage House courtyard tent if rain.
