Complement your visit to Lyndhurst with a musical tour of 19th century America. Hear works that resonated through the verandas and salons of America's estates and gracious homes. Join the internationally-acclaimed Music from Copland House ensemble in a vibrant program of works by Louis Moreau Gottschalk of Louisiana; Amy Beach, America's first great woman composer; and Antonin Dvorak, the Czech master who spent years in the U.S. leading young composers to create an American musical voice.
The concert will be performed in the mansion’s Reception Room using the historic piano. A meet-the-artist reception will follow. Space is limited.
