Kick off Mother’s Day weekend and celebrate the spring’s vitality with a very special HVWC & Slapering Hol Press reading, Writing Birth: Rachel Zucker, Kristin Kovacic, & Laura Jan Shore, on Friday evening, May 11, at 7:30 pm.
Rachel Zucker, acclaimed poet and co-author of Home/Birth: A Poemic, joins Kristin Kovacic, editor of Birth: A Literary Companion, and Australian poet, Laura Jan Shore, for an evening of poems and stories at the intersection of the personal and the political.
Again, Writing Birth will take place at 7:30 pm on Friday evening, May 11, as part of the HVWC & Slapering Hol Press Readers’ Series. Admission is $5. A brief Q & A and reception will follow the reading.
