Brothers to Launch Bartending Mobile App

The Farringtons—Brian, Kevin and Frankie—will officially launch the app "ServeEm" Jan. 18 at DoubleDays Bar in Dobbs Ferry.

Three brothers from Dobbs Ferry are launching a mobile app that could help people around the world insure they spend Happy Hour with a good bartender.

Brian, Kevin and Frankie Farrington will officially launch the app "ServEm" at 8 p.m. Jan. 18 at DoubleDays Bar, 88 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry. Their app partner, Eric Pomeroy, a bartender at DoubleDays, will also help unveil ServEm to the public.

ServEm is designed to enhance the bar scene in your area by finding bars nearby and also listing the bartenders working behind the rail. With the app's Bartender Profile, each bartender will have ratings and reviews based on user experience, so that as its designers say, "the days where you wonder who is behind the bar and if you can get a good drink or have a great conversation are long gone."

As a bar patron, you will have the opportunity to browse bartender profiles and decide which spot you would like to "belly-up" to.

The four founding members of ServEm describe the app as something for bartenders and bar-goers alike that will help connect people to the right bars, as a "matchmaker for bars and bar-goers.”
