Fenced in between Fleetwood Pizza and the Tarrytown Gourmet is a sizable piece of land which was going to get developed until the developer dropped out.
Village Administrator Anthony Giaccio said at the Merchants meeting that someone was in the process of getting building permits but the deal fell through because the lot was too expensive. To this, resident Cynthia Aridas responded on Patch that she would love to see the Open Door health clinic move into a brand new building on the vacant lot. "Near their current location, right across from parking at Morse, easy walk from the inner village, and a bus stop on the corner," she wrote.
