Wing-Eating Contest, Shirt Raffles, Open Bar and More Local Offerings for Super Bowl XLVI

Plenty of venues to party in as you watch the New England Patriots battle the New York Giants on Sunday.

 

Superbowl 46, or rather, XLVI! Whether or not you actually watch The Game, its commercials, or Madonna at halftime, you probably enjoy the party, the beer, the wings. 

Here are some of the major local venues (click on their names for address and phone info) with special offerings that day, and please update us any more in the comments below. And while you're it, don't forget to nominate !

Starting at 5 p.m., the doors open for a $60 per person open bar/food buffet event. As long as the game goes on, there will be food and drinks, along with giveaways and raffles. Table reservations available.

Those homebound can enjoy the "famous" J.P. wings by the trayful, complete with the bleu cheese and celery sticks, $75 a tray. 

 

Little b's is going to be big all day Sunday with 50-cent wings and $15 craft beers by the pitcher; Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light and Rolling Rock for $3. At halftime the real action starts with a hot wings eating contest. Winner gets a free t-shirt, a little trophy, free drinks for the rest of the night, and maybe even his/her picture memorialized on the wall.

 

In addition to the draw of their 17 or so TVs, there's two prize shirts hanging in the front window up for raffle on Sunday. Tickets go for $10 each for a chance to win the Pierre Paul 90 blue shirt, to be raffled off at halftime. Then there's the Victor Cruz "salsa" t-shirt for for $5 a chance. 

Beer specials will include winter lagers for $4 pint: Sam Adams, Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada and Thomas Hooker Nor'easter.

 

Join them for the rematch of the epic Super Bowl XLII. All 11 HDTV’s will be on in both the bar and dining rooms with surround sound. Brew and mixed drink specials; $20 all you can eat buffet includes: house smoked chicken wings, mac and cheese, beef brisket chili and veggie chili, beer braised brats and kraut, house smoked pulled pork, hand cut sliced potato chips, and fresh garden salad.

Seating will be first come first serve so get there early and grab a seat at the bar or a table in the dining rooms. Buffet available during the hours of 5 to 10 p.m.

 

This pub on Main will be doing an open bar starting at 6 p.m. for $40 including food supplied by . For those who don't want to participate in open bar, they will offer these drink specials: 2 for $7 PBRs and $4 well drinks, Mimosas, and Bloody Maries.
