According to Jamie Doward of The Guardian, a study out of UC Berkely found restaurants were more likely to be busy at popular dining hours if their rating improved by merely half-a-star (Yelp’s rating system is based on stars).

I've been here on different occasions and been satisfied. The service is good, the waiters are really nice. I would recommend this restaurant for their lunch buffet. I am curious to come here for dinner and see how their entrees and service are beyond lunch hours.”
