105-Ten Restaurant Opening Soon In Briarcliff Manor

Staying true to its creative concept, 105-Ten identifies with the community in which it calls home as well as neighboring small towns of Westchester that similarly share the 105 prefix to their zip codes. By building the Briarcliff Manor zip code right into the name this local establishment hopes to give patrons a unique culinary experience with small town charm. When 105-Ten opens its doors later this month the elevated American cuisine and modern, yet rustic decor strives to offer residents of smaller towns in central to northern Westchester a great neighborhood hot spot to call their own.

Trendy exposed duct work that reflects industrial touches, rich high brick walls and a 25 foot long classic bar with ample seating and three large televisions will make up the brand new eatery.  Offering the latest in culinary trends and beverage mixology 105-Ten hopes to draw a regular crowd to enjoy monthly musical entertainment and flowing local Craft beer on twelve taps as well as bottle beers and exceptional wine by the glass with generous pours. The specialty drink list will include “Martini Flights,” small samples of different kinds of popular martinis that amount to one full drink, giving guests the opportunity to try different cocktails or share amoungst friends.

Building on their success at Rainwater Grill in Hastings on the Hudson, partners Anthony Fortunate, a local family man from Briarcliff and Executive Chef Eddis Martinez hope to bring to the table at 105-Ten their extensive business knowledge and combined experience in the restaurant industry. The duo has strong loyalty to the Westchester community and surrounding areas and pride themselves on staying within a 400 mile radius of the 10510 zip to obtain locally grown chicken, steaks and vegetables. Many of the services used to build the restaurant were supplied locally by community members and associates of the two partners.

“We are excited to open a restaurant right in my hometown where we can offer neighbors and the members of the local communities a great place to unwind and enjoy delicious food. We look forward to the grand opening and seeing the people we associate with every day walk through the doors of 105-Ten,” said Fortunate. “While the larger Westchester cities thrive on the big box stores and vast restaurants chains, we wanted to focus on the small town type environment where everyone knows each other and community members come together.”

The diverse menu will offer hand-picked favorites of Chef Martinez that he has personally developed through his years in the kitchen of various restaurants.  Some menu items offered will include fried avocado and Ahi tuna appetizers, pear & arugula and chopped cobb salads, lobster mac & cheese, South American Sea Bass and Steak Frits. The restaurant will also serve burgers and wraps and feature daily blackboard specials. 105-Ten, located at 127 Wood Side Avenue, Briarcliff Manor, will be open for lunch and dinner and has ample parking for close to 90 cars in the private lot. A seating area adjacent to the bar features reclaimed wood round tables and three long and high communal tables separate from the main dining space. The restaurant will also offer gluten free and vegetarian selections.  A children’s menu will be available with a portion of each meals sale being donated back to a local charity.  The restaurant website is under construction currently but watch for grand opening details coming soon on Facebook and “Like” the restaurant for special deals and coupons.
