community / church sale participation?

does anyone know where i can locally participate in a community sale? i'm trying to raise money to go to india for a voulenteer trip, and one way i thought of was to sell some of my old things (i've got some pretty rad things) but i live in an appartment building that is out of the way- and cannot host a sale here.
any information or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
