Areola/Nipple Tattooing on TV and Radio!

Television and Radio stations broadcasting areola tattooing as the best option for breast cancer survivors after mastectomy.

As more breast cancer survivors are informed about their options of receiving colorful, gloriously tattooed areola's and nipples after mastectomy reconstruction, more and more television and radio companies are excited about it and jumping on board to spread the good word.  If you would like to watch the discussion of areola and nipple tattooing and see some great "before and after" tattoo breast photos go to:

Madhousetv.com, April 6, 2013 11:am show: Rendesvous with Alysia - LIVE broadcast (recorded) and watch Cathi Locati at time code: 13:00-25:00 then 49:00 - 50:30.

I was featured last Sunday night on a LIVE broadcast (audience 150,000 global reach) on the Radio Show: Fire n Ice on WONDRADIO.com with host Scott Macom (whose mother was affected by breast cancer).  He is an avid supporter of areola tattooing and wants the world to know about it!  I will post this link soon....

Tomorrow I will be creating a new areola for a breast cancer survivor who had one of her breasts tattooed by a surgeon 5 years ago (the color that was there before is completley gone) since surgeons are still using pigments that fade and disappear. Whenever I perform procedures on unilateral patients (single mastectomy - one areola and nipple is missing, the other is still there) I first create the illusion side (tattoo the one that is missing) then quickly tattoo the exisitng side with the same color and design so that both breasts match and heal at the same time and last forever.

Tomorrow also, I am finishing up a unilateral patient who came to see me 3 weeks ago for her first session. This is the customary second session I offer every patient so that we can see what the body does with the ink and artistically adjust darker or lighter for longevity during the second session.

Start talking to breast cancer survivors and ask them:  Are you missing your areolas and nipples?  Have you had them tattooed by an artist who uses permanent ink and makes them look real?  Do you know there is an Areola Architect right here in Tarrytown who provides this paramedical service and works alongside plastic surgeons and hospitals?

All they have to do is call: 914.659.7777 and/or visit my areola site: www.cathilocatico.com to see photos (click Areola photos on home page) scroll down.  To see my fine art site; www.cathilocati.com

Feel free to contact me with any questions and let the breast cancer support groups know I am available as a presenter at meetings.  Cheers!
