Sleepy Hollow High School was named as a finalist for a coveted College Board award given for outstanding college preparation programs.

Sleepy Hollow High School Named One of Eight National Finalists for The College Board’s Gaston Caperton Inspiration Award

It was announced Feb 17th that Sleepy Hollow High School has been named a finalist for the Inspiration Award from The College Board, named for the organization’s former long-time president. The award recognizes outstanding college preparation programs and partnerships among teachers, parents, and community organizations.

Despite overwhelming odds, The College Board has recognized the remarkable steps Sleepy Hollow has taken to give its students the bright futures they deserve.

Sleepy Hollow was selected as one of eight national finalists from among hundreds of applicants. A site visit will be conducted in March as the next step in the process.

Three national winners will be awarded $25,000 each; the other five finalists will be named honorable mention and receive $1,000 each.
