I just wanted to share that once again, Sleepy Hollow Public Works went above and beyond expectations in their efforts following super-storm Sandy.
We spend hours moving numerous heavy branches and tarp after tarp filled with leaves to the curb following the storm on Wednesday, only to see them vanish sometime on Thursday! Sleepy Hollow Public Works Department did all this without even missing Thursday garbage pick-up.
It's good to know that we get value for our tax dollars in our community. Thank you Sleepy Hollow. Amid all the inconvenience and hardship, the stamina and hard work of our public works people is a fine example of how we all need to soldier on.
