When patronizing any establishment that serves food, it is important to feel comfortable in knowing that you made the right choice. Since you can't outright waltz into the kitchen like a Health Inspector, look for subltle hints.
If you are using the restroom and you see something like this toilet brush, think twice. It does not take a deep understanding of Rocket Science to know that this is nasty. A Bio-hazard in fact. How does a brush get into that type of condition you ask? Maybe it was the food that was the beginning of the issue.
To me, this is a blatant disregard for proper sanitation and poor lack of judgement to have this on public display. Maybe those individuals who operate this food service could care less, that would certainly change if their business took a fiancial hit due to a lack of sales from educated consumers who refuse to patronize filthy places.
