Eleven EFIA students volunteered for Westchester Triathlon (http://westchestertriathlon.org/) last Sunday, September 23rd. Olympic Westchester Triathlon consists of 0.9M swim, 25M bike race, followed by 6.2M run. About 1,000 athletes competed this year. The Jarden Westchester Triathlon raises thousands of dollars every year for many charities, including The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Challenged Athletes Foundation, The Wounded Warrior Project and others. EFIA students were placed along the run course. They directed the athletes and cheered them on.
