The dense fog enveloping the villages tonight is due to the daytime rain, dropping temperatures and deep snow packs.
The National Weather Service has issued a warning for Westchester County through midnight Monday night.
The fog will reduce visibility tonight, with many locations will have visibility of only a few hundred feet, according to the National Weather Service.
"Visibility this low is extremely dangerous for travelers," the NWS states. "At night fog this dense can disorient drivers. Dense fog has caused some the nation`s worst traffic accidents. Please use extreme caution if you must travel this evening."
Expect a low in the lower 30s tonight. Folks will wake up to sunshine and a high of 41 Tuesday, according to the NWS.
But, Scarsdale could see more snow Wednesday and Saturday night. The NWS forecast is predicting a chance of snowfall this week and weekend.
