You can buy them at the race too but it is a little easier for the folks putting on this event if you buy them in advance. (To better understand what it takes to put on such a seemingly simple event, read this .)

Shortly after Tarrytown was announced in the World (ok, I'm exaggerating a little bit), thought they'd celebrate the news by kicking off a Facebook photo contest. Submit your “Prettiest Photo of Tarrytown” up until April 30 on their Facebook page (TarrytownHouseEstate) and email them a jpeg.
Judges will announce the winning entry in early May, to be awarded a complimentary weekend stay for two in one of the “historic King Mansion’s 10 elegant, Georgian style guest rooms plus a full American breakfast buffet valued from $349 and up." Definitely worth the effort of uploading a few photos!
