L.O.V.E. (Lots of Valentine's Events!)

Scrambling to make some last minute plans with that special someone? Keep it simple and local—Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow have plenty to offer for couples to make this day of love a most memorable one.

Whether your beau would enjoy a show, special dinner or something simple and sweet—Patch has got you covered. Support a local venue or restaurant while celebrating this year. Happy Valentine's Day!

Doubletree Hotel

The Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown will be hosting the 2nd Annual Valentine's Vintage Fashion Show and Sale on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. There will be about 30 dealers with vintage clothing, accessories, textiles and jewelry. Admission is $7 and free for visitors under 13.

Bistro Z (at the Doubletree Hotel)

Bistro Z is among the many local restaurants with a special prix-fixe Valentine's Day menu. Supervisor Michael Ringwald says theirs includes four courses and a complimentary glass of champagne for $59.

Chiboust

Chiboust will be simultaneously celebrating their sixth anniversary and Valentine's Day this weekend. Their special Valentine's Day brunch features five egg specials for $14 a piece, as well as lunch specials and sides ranging from $8 - $28. For dinner, Chiboust is offering a special four-course prix-fixe menu for $75.

Castle on the Hudson

Two extra-special prix-fixe menus are available at the Castle in honor of Valentine's Day. The "Early Seating" four-course menu is available from Friday, February 12th through Sunday, February 14th starting at $85. The six-course "late seating" menu features six carefully constructed courses, starting at $135 and is available on Saturday and Sunday only.

At 8 p.m. on Valentine's Day, there will be special performance by tony-nominated performer Euan Morton, in a Cabaret at the Castle Valentine's Day concert.

Finalmente Trattoria

Beekman Avenue's newest addition has some unbeatable deals on their menu, with salads ranging from $8 to $10, pasta dishes for $12 to $16 and entrées from $12 to $19. Owner Daniel Damiano adds that the ladies will be given a rose on Valentine's Day, and every guest will receive a complimentary glass of wine.

Tarrytown Music Hall

The Drifters featuring Charlie Thomas will play a tribute concert to Tony D—"The Man Behind the Music," a former consistent performer of the Music Hall. His family and friends will be in attendance. $75 for premium seats and a meet and greet following the show.

A Little Less Local, But Just as Lovely:

Jacob Burns Film Center

At 5 p.m., Jacob Burns in Pleasantville will be showing The African Queen, a 1951 classic romantic adventure starring Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. After the hour and forty-five minute showing, there will be a champagne reception. Members pay $20 and nonmembers pay $25 for this special Valentine's Day event.

Prospero Winery

Prospero Winery in Pleasantville is hosting a chocolate and wine-pairing event in honor of Valentine's Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first four wines are free, $5 for five to eight and $10 for a sample of 15 wines.

Mauro's Restaurant

Mauro's of Ossining has created an à la carte "Sweetheart Menu" for Valentine's dinner with entrées starting at $19. There will also be live music to accompany your special meal.

Irvington Town Hall Theater

The Irvington Town Hall Theater Commission presents, as part as their "Best of" Film Series, Romeo and Juliette by Gounod. Tickets are $20, and the show kicks off at 1 p.m.
