Update: Downed Lines Block Clinton Street

Sleepy Hollow Police report many outages but only a few incidents from last night's storm.

Sleepy Hollow received less damages than Tarrytown from the last night’s strong winds and rains but more outages, reports Lieutenant Frank Hrotko.

The top half of a Con Edison pole fell down at Clinton near Beekman, making for a dramatic scene and blocking the street with downed lines. Until Con Edison arrives, an officer guards the area from passersby. Caution tape blocks off a portion of Beekman at the head of Clinton Street and Clinton down to Depeyster.

A tree fell in Sleepy Hollow Manor damaging one car and causing outtages in the surrounding homes.
