TWO WORKSHOPS:

CHACARERA - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Chacarera originated in the northwest of Argentina in the 19th century. It's game of love and gallantry with a lively rhythm. A beautiful dance of courtship that ends with the couple coming together.

ZAMBA - 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
A majestic and elegant dance of love where the couples play with each other in a romantic way. A seduction with white handkerchiefs; the man displays his masculinity while the woman shows her warmth.

PERFORMANCE & OPEN DANCE FLOOR - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

CLAUDIO PONCE BIOGRAPHY Born in La Banda, Argentina, Claudio Ponce studied with masters of Argentine folklore and became one of the most prestigious performers in the world. His appearances include various Folk and Tango Festivals, popular TV shows, Cirque Du Soleil, performances for Presidents G.W. Bush and Barack Obama, Ban Ki-moon, and theatrical performances.
