The JCC on the Hudson Helping Sandy Victims

JCC ON THE HUDSON AND COMMUNITY RESPOND TO SANDY

Westchester Community Members Sort and Package Necessities for Victims

Westchester residents of all ages have responded to the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy by donating a variety of items for victims of the storm. A strong response to the JCC on the Hudson’s request for donations of non-perishable goods including clothing, batteries, blankets, toiletries, gift cards and other items has led to the collection of bags and bags of goods that will help people begin to rebuild their lives. From 1:30-3:30 p.m., volunteers of all ages from around the lower Westchester area will be at the JCC to sort and ready the donations for delivery throughout the affected areas on Long Island and in Westchester.

When: Saturday, November 10, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
