WORDPLAY is a workshop series that combines the classic writing techniques of poetry with the theatrical performance element of spoken word. These writing workshops will provide students with skills in areas of expression, introspection, public speaking, confidence, constructive criticism, editing, team Work and tolerance. These skills are not only vital in the academic arena but also useful in both professional and personal environments. Every workshop is a supportive community and a place to receive feedback and build new ideas.
6 Workshops beginning Wednesday, February 6, repeating every Wednesday at 4:00 PM. Sessions are 90 mins long. Maximum 15 participants. A final performance for participants and their friends and families will be scheduled.
