Plan Ahead Events of is pleased to present the Sprint For Soliders 5K & 10K benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. This event will be held on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014 at the Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, NY.
This is a competitive yet fun and friendly event. The timed race allows you to run, jog or walk a scenic route with family and friends along the beautiful grounds of Lyndhurst Mansion!
There will be an Awards Ceremony for top race performers by Age Groups and Teams. There will be a Trade Show of local businesses, music, food and of course, a special tribute to all Military participants.
Registration Fee will include:
- An official Sprint For Soldiers Dog Tag
- Top 3 Male and Female Awards By Age Group & for Teams
- Goody Bag with Offers and Discounts
- Timed Event
- Certified 5K & 10 K Course
- Special Tribute to Wounded Warriors
Sprint For Soldiers is happy to support our beneficiary, Wounded Warrior Project. This event will raise awareness for this organizationwhich began when several veterans and friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq, took action to help others in need.
