The S, T, U of Opera

Lu Gmoser, an adjunct faculty member of Westchester Community College Mainstream program, will be presenting some well rounded insights into the operas, “Samson and Delilah” by Camille Saint-Saens (France, 1877), “Turandot” by…Giacomo Puccini (Italy,1924), and “Orpheus in the Underworld” by Jacques Offenbach (Germany,1858) that will include anecdotes and facts about the operas and the performers to make this a lively and informative program. Taped musical excerpts enhance this program. 
She was the producer of the Asbury Summer Theatre, received a Cab Calloway Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award and an Untermeyer Performing Arts Council Award.
