Any plans to open more dining options at 610 White Plains Road?

We need more food option in Elmsford/Tarrytown/White Plains

My husband and I moved to Elmsford this past April.  I am a little sad to see the lack of food options here.  We often go to Tarrytown for dinner which is great (we love Little B's and Lefeteris Greek for example)  We were happy to see the new Stop and Shop open and then the recent liquor store next to it as well.  There is still space next to it.  I'd love to see something like a Chipotle open in that space.  Even a Panera Bread or Atlanta Bread Company- something along those lines.  I'm sure they would be successful, especially with all the office buildings surrounding it which would draw a busy lunch crowd.  I'd even like to see something like a McDonald's (as a last resort) open in the parking lot there if nothing else.  I often have to drive to Rye or White Plains just for a quick semi-healthy lunch.

Good question Gina and thanks for blogging (welcome!). I will pass this along. I agree, Chipotle gets my vote! That would do so well I would think. Seems there are tons of employees around here that could definitely use more/any lunch options.

Funny. My best friend & I were wihsful thinking that we had an Olive Garden instead of the TGIF off of Whiteplains Road. We would spend our lunch hour at Olive Garden. TGIF's food is gross :( I think with all the Corporate buildings around & hotels Olive Garden would do well even during evenings. The food is yummy & you can get healthy choices. TGIF's food is all frozen. I do go sometimes for a quick drink.

Any votes from others on what sort of dining place you'd like to see around here?

Thank you for your replies. I almost forgot about TGIF's. I guess it's hidden- we have gone a few times but it's a little blah and service is a little on the slow side each time we went. The Olive Garden would be a good option too- I haven't seen many around here. My dream would be a Chop't salad location. There is one in Rye and a few in the city- delicious quick salads with some sandwich and soups as well. I was happy to discover Le Pain Quotidien on Purchase St. the other day- a favorite of mine from NYC. I just wish it were a little closer. I wonder how we go about contacting companies to get something going? Thanks all! :-)

Panera would be great! So would Olive Garden!! Would also love it if an independent delicious italian restaurant would open shop there too!
