ALS Association of Greater NY Hosts 10th Annual Walk to Defeat ALS

**Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will serve as Honorary Walk Chair and is scheduled to attend.**

 

The walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Before and after the walk there will be family friendly activities such as face painting, live music, cheering mascots, refreshments, and other fun & games.

Proceeds from the event will go to The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter.  As one of The ALS Association's leading chapters, the Greater New York Chapter serves Westchester County,  New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and Northern & Central New Jersey and plays a major role in fighting for an effective treatment and cure for ALS. The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit voluntary health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS.  ALSA is a member of the National Health Council.
