Ms. Fields has provided her keen leadership and guidance working with key partners for more than 13 years at Colgate.  As a result, she has helped to access over 12 million youth through her Colgate work.

“It is important to recognize those corporate leaders who demonstrate a firm understanding of the needs of our community and combine this understanding with corporate initiatives to make a real, measurable difference,” noted Cynthia Rountree, President of Greater Hudson Valley Chapter.

In addition to presenting the “Hats Off” Award, The Greater Hudson Valley Chapter is very pleased to acknowledge and have the support of our Honorary Co-Chairs George Bundy Smith and Dr. Lenora Taitt-Magubane – both recognized 1960’s Civil Rights Freedom Riders.  This year is the 50th Anniversary of the Freedom Riders historic events.  GHV will add its collective voice of appreciation to those who risked much as Civil Rights Freedom Riders.

The Ladies In Hats Fundraiser will again feature a Hats Fashion Show and select hat designers and retailers with available merchandise starting at 11am. Tickets are available at $90. Contact the website for more information: http://greaterhudsonvalleylinksinc.org/
