Park Clean Ups Continue in Villages

Saturday May 11 marks the Riverkeeper "Sweep" and groups will gather to clean and weed Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown's RiverWalk.

After a successful series of many clean up days in the villages, there's still more work to be done. 

In Sleepy Hollow,

an invititation from James West, president of the Sleepy Hollow Manor Association, who with Tracy Brown is co-leading this event:

Kingsland Point Park has been registered for the Saturday, May 11th Riverkeeper sweep event.

The park cleanup event will be from 8 am till 11 am. 

Folks are encouraged to use this online registration page in order to be eligible for raffle prizes and an invitation to a meet up at Captain Lawrence, Peekskill Brewery or one of seven other venues offering a free drink to Sweep volunteers on May 11: http://kingslandsweep.eventbrite.com

In Tarrytown,

the newly formed Friends of the RiverWalk, will gather again, also as part of the Riverkeeper Sweep to do more weeding and clipping.
