Share your Thanksgiving Bounty: Help the Food Bank
Donate $25 in honor of the Food Bank's 25th year of service, which will pay for two turkeys for two local families.
With approximately 200,000 county residents hungry or at risk of being hungry, there is a significant need for turkeys this Thanksgiving, says the Food Bank of Westchester.
As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Food Bank hopes to raise enough money to provide 4,000 turkeys for families whose food budgets don't stretch to holiday meals.
Ellen Lynch, Food Bank for Westchester Executive Director, says “Thanks to everyone who supports our holiday turkey drive, a huge burden is lifted off these families’ shoulders.”
